Tea Tasting & Brewing with S•TEA•P

In honor of International Tea Day (May 21st), we will be hosting “Tea Tasting & Brewing” – an immersive tea tasting and brewing workshop with S•TEA•P in The Gallery at Stone & Spoon on Saturday, May 21st at 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
Samantha Musil, owner & founder of S•TEA•P (Specialty Tea Products), will lead workshop participants through an immersive tea tasting and brewing experience. We will explore 5 different loose-leaf teas (from the 5 main tea types) and 3 different brewing methods. There will be discussions about each tea where participants will be asked to reflect upon the brewing and tasting experience.
This workshop is well suited for those who are new to loose leaf tea as well as more seasoned tea drinkers. Participants will obtain knowledge of the different tea types as well as gain increased understanding of brewing methods. This hands-on experience is sure to enhance your tea drinking practice.
S•TEA•P’s Michigan inspired loose leaf teas draw upon familiar names and flavors that evoke fond memories and create connections. By simply brewing a cup of tea, drinkers will be mentally transported to their favorite places in time, recollect their favorite Michigan Memories, and dream of new ones yet to be made.
Join us in creating connections… one cup at a time!
Light snack pairings will be provided. Each attendee will receive a sample of loose-leaf tea (3-5 cups)
This workshop is $30 per person. Ages 14 and up
Mobility note: Our beautiful 19th century building has no elevator, so all attendees will need to take a flight of stairs to our second floor to access The Gallery at Stone & Spoon.
