It’s a Safety Dance, YES, it’s safe to dance!
Join us for a dance experience that flies in the face of the “club scene” – if you have been looking for a way to dance & boogie with your friends without being in a bar or club, this is your place! It’s an inclusive & safe space for all. We will drop the lights, turn up the music in The Gallery, and just dance our worries away surrounded by art! This event will have ever changing themes but for our first “SAFETY DANCE” we’re going with our tried & true theme: THE 80s!
Safety Dance is NOT an observation event, come ready to BOOGIE ON DOWN! (Chairs will be available for rest & breaks of course, but our primary focus for this event is to be able to move & groove in a judgment free environment!)
80s music will be bumping so if you feel more so inclined to wear your best 80s getup, we encourage you to do so!!!
BYOB, Ages 21 & up! Suggested donation of $5 to enter!
Mobility note: Our beautiful 19th century building has no elevator, so all attendees will need to take a flight of stairs up to The Gallery.
