A Candy Colored Dreamscape: A Solo Exhibition by Sareka Unique
“A Candy Colored Dreamscape: A Solo Exhibition by Sareka Unique” opens on Friday, April 1st and runs through Sunday, May 22nd, 2022 in The Gallery at Stone & Spoon. (We would love to have you join us for the Opening Night Reception – more details here!)
Sareka uses color as a tool that brings happiness through her work. With serendipitous marks and expressions, the artist invites you to experience a colorful utopia that allows you to explore multiple layers of joy, happiness and wonder.
Sareka Unique is an Artist, Illustrator, Designer, and Creator of bright, fun, colorful things. She grew up in Detroit, Michigan, and studied Visual Communication Technology at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Later, after studying Graphic Design, Sareka fell in love with Illustration and Surface Pattern Design – and then finally gave into the calling to paint. Since then, she has been using her love of color to create artwork that evokes a sense of vibrancy and joy.
*Mobility note: Our beautiful 19th century building has no elevator, so all attendees will need to take a flight of stairs up to The Gallery. If you are unable to do stairs, but would like to see the exhibition, we will be posting a live video of the exhibition alongside the artist for an insider’s perspective. This will be another great way to see this exhibition!
